HERBAL GUIDE SESSION
$150-250 for 90 minutes, includes herbs and shipping/delivery
I offer my sessions at sliding scale to help increase access to these offerings. The lowest cost of $150 covers my time and materials at a discounted rate: session time at the minimum of $1.15/min, $10 for shipping/delivery, and the custom herbal preparation at the minimum of $40. The middle cost of $200 covers my time and materials at market value: session time at the market rate of $1.50/min, $10 for shipping/delivery, and the custom herbal preparation at the market value of $55. The high cost of $250 pays it forward to another client: this allows me to set aside the additional $50 to help cover my monthly pay-what-you-can sessions for trans people, as well as to possibly increase the number of those sessions in the future. Please take this into account as you decide what to pay. I also reallocate 10% of my income to BIPGM-led mutual aid projects in the DMV such as the wonderful DC Mutual Aid Apothecary.

I developed this offering out of a desire to try to step aside a bit and let the plants talk. In my own healing journey, I have found that my direct spiritual connection with the plants has been the deepest and most enduring well – but it’s taken a long time to establish! I want to be a guide to those who wish to grow their own connections with plants: from those who are new to the herb world to those who have been tending their gardens for years. This session is specifically here for orienting those relationships around reciprocal learning and giving. All of us have situations and feelings we struggle with or that we want to experience more, and the plants can be such wonderful teachers that help point the way.
In our session together, we will sketch out a place of beginning, then move together towards a desired outcome. This can be a more traditional intake, structured around finding the narrative of you, your health, and your body, or a more intuitive session with the Tarot as our guide. Finally, we will find ways for you to continue to connect with the plants outside of the session, including crafting one herbal offering to be a companion on this journey. This could be a tea, bath soak, flower essence, whatever feels right for the plants! They will be sent in the mail or can be delivered if you are local to Baltimore. This one herbal preparation and shipping/delivery are included in the price of the session.

tarot SESSION
$72-120 for 45 minutes, includes herbs and shipping/delivery

The high cost of $120 pays it forward to another client: this allows me to set aside the additional $20 to cover my two current monthly slots of free/low cost sessions for trans people, as well as to possibly increase the number of those sessions in the future. The archetypes that the cards embody speak to so much in our lives – our dreams, our choices, our everyday experiences. They are one way to organize the complicated threads of our lives, weaving a picture that draws from our subconscious deep knowing. This tapestry can show us patterns connecting things that we have never seen before, or it can validate our already-formed intuitive understanding of a situation. Ultimately, the Tarot is a tool towards self-knowing.
Tarot also can be a powerful divinatory tool through which the plants often speak. I often find myself turning towards specific plants after doing a reading for myself, finding their energies a perfect match for the energies that came up in the cards. In this vein, we will utilize the symbolism of the Tarot to point us towards specific plants who might have messages they want to impart to you at this time.
Before our session together, I will ask for your main question(s) and create a spread designed to address your current situation. Then, during the reading, we will talk about the symbols that are coming up as well as determine which plants wish to work with you. After choosing one together, I will then send you a preparation of that herb as a flower essence or tincture. They will be sent in the mail or can be delivered if you are local to Baltimore. This one herbal preparation and shipping/delivery are included in the price of the session.
